Chan Hei, Chelsea has engaged in architectural and interior design profession for more than ten years. She graduated from School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Bachelor of Environmental Design and Southern California Institute of Architecture in Master of Architecture. Chelsea has received Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award and is an international chartered member of RIBA. Questioning why great architecture serve so few and how designers can use their training for the greater good, she came back to her alma mater to pursue her PhD research in social design, with a focus on social architecture, vulnerable community and sustainable development.

Hsieh Meng Hsun, Max graduated from Tunghai University of Department of Social Work, Taiwan. He is a licensed social worker in Taiwan and engaged in child and youth protection as well as family counseling work for 5+ years. After that, he worked as the office manager of Hsieh Ying Chun architectural studio for nearly 10 years. The company promotes light steel construction as a mean for participatory construction for global post-disaster, refugees and poverty area. With both knowledge in social work and architecture, Max is looking forward to combine social work and architectural design to help people improve their lives.
